Wanda began her real estate career in rental and property management, obtaining her real estate license in 1979. She transitioned into sales and joined the Treasure Team in 2009. Her growing success allowed her to partner with an agent, Teresa Toney. This partnership, with complimenting areas of expertise, created a real estate powerhouse to fully meet her client’s needs in the greater Topsail area. 

A highly qualified Realtor who is consistently recognized in the industry with top sales awards, Wanda has earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, which is the highest credential awarded to residential agents. She is also an Accredited Buyer's Representative. She maintains a strong relationship with custom builders, which helps Wanda and her team assist clients who prefer to purchase land and build their own homes.

Trust, confidence, and strong relationships are important to Wanda. Throughout the years, she has developed lasting friendships with her clients, built on trust and their belief in her advice and expertise. She keeps in touch with her past clients and is grateful for their continued referrals. Her knowledge of the area and her honesty are the foundation of her strong client relationships. She says, “I won’t sell something just to make the sale, if I don’t think it’s the right fit. I help clients think about things maybe they hadn’t thought about and make sure they are considering all their options.”

Wanda says that her work is rewarding, and she loves the people she helps. She is eager to share all she knows about the area, including its history and all that it has to offer. Wanda has lived in the greater Topsail area since she was in the first grade and still owns that first house. Her husband grew up in this area as well, and most of her family still lives here. She says excitedly, “I love where I live. I’ve never had to buy frozen seafood. I’ve never had to drive more than five minutes to get to the beach.”

The Treasure Team is also “really like a family.” She explains that “we have trust among our agents. We have such good agents that we can lean on each other for knowledge. It’s good to be able to bounce ideas off each other… we have a good group of trusted people here.”
